January 1998 Finished year twenty of teaching. Began teaching in January 1978 at Mira Loma High School
January 1998 Visited Coloma on the 150th anniversary of the discovery of gold.
June 1998 Robert completes grade two.

Summer 1998 Visited Michigan with Christine, Kate, Robert, Zoe.
August 1998 Robert begins the third grade at Dewey Fundamental School
September 29, 1998 Jim turns 43.
October 6, 1998 Eva Marie Martin dies at age 93. She was Christine's grandmother. Her mother Jeannine's mother.
October 24, 1998 Zoe turns seven.
November 1998 (Europe trip 7) Traveled to Hamburg, Germany for ECIS convention. This one was without Bob Esler. Christine and I also traveled to Berlin.
December 15, 1998 Robert turns nine.
