1980

January 1980 Finished year two of teaching. Began in January 1978 at Mira Loma High School.

February 13, 1980. Saw the Phil Donahue Show being taped at the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium. I asked a question and got on camera and also got Phil's autograph.

June 1980. Finished teaching my first group of seniors at Mira Loma High School. I would later attend their 20 and 30 year reunions.

July 1980. Ran my first marathon. The San Francisco Marathon. Under 3:30

September 1980. Began teaching part of the day at Del Campo High School. Taught periods 1-3 at Del Campo then drove to Mira Loma for periods five and six. Dumb idea.
